All too often, we take a backwards approach in life. The “Ready, Fire, Aim” approach. We passionately pursue something, whether it is a personal goal or a professional one. Then when we accomplish it, we are left wondering if there was a better, more worthwhile goal that we should have been aiming for all along. And as such, we are firing at one thing after another without starting with the fundamental basics: centering ourselves and discovering what is best for our mind, heart, and soul. Only then will we hit the bulls-eye.
